It’s that time of year, The annual Tee it up for the Troops event is tomorrow, and will be held at the Mt. Hawley Country Club and the Country Club of Peoria. I don’t have much more on it as well, they didn’t tell us about the event until Friday. Here’s what I got on Friday:
The Event begins with Breakfast at 6:30 AM at both Mt Hawley and Peoria Country Clubs. Morning golf is all veterans, with free rounds, and the afternoon golf outing is for sponsors and their guests. In the evening there will be a closing dinner with live music at Mt Hawley.
This is the fourth annual TIUFTT event. Tee It Up in Peoria donates the proceeds from the event to organizations providing support for Veterans, Serving Military Families and the families of Veterans. Past donations have gone to the local VA Clinic, to the General Downing Home for Veterans and to the General Downing scholarship fund at ICC.
It’s a great event and if you like golf, a tremendous time. I realize it is likely too late to sign up to play but at least go and check it out.
