Join us and explore California’s wine country. We are hosted by the Hawley Winery in Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg, California. We will tour the winery, enjoy a wine tasting and learn all about a family making fine wines. Additionally, we will learn about the art of falconry and experience the art of Dana Hawley while enjoying lunch at the winery.
We will also visit the historic Railroad Station District in Santa Rosa. Nearby are the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens as well as the Sonoma County Musuem of Art. We meet for a group dinner on Friday and share stories, discuss research challenges and reacquaint ourselves with each other.
Copies of The Hawley Record and other Hawley memorabilia will be available to review. We have a special gift bag planned in addition to the good time we always have together.
There are countless sites to see and things to explore in Northern California. Mt Tamalpias, Muir Woods, the Mendocino coast, Marin headlands, and of course San Francisco, where the annual Fleet Week will be happening.
